Job Summary:
We are seeking experienced Forklift Operators to join our busy logistics facility in Los Angeles, California. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts to move, sort, and stage materials throughout our distribution center. Your expertise in handling equipment and adherence to safety standards are paramount to maintaining our operational efficiency and ensuring a secure working environment. Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move palletized goods, raw materials, and finished products.
  • Load and unload trucks, containers, and trailers with accuracy and care.
  • Transport materials to and from designated storage areas within the warehouse.
  • Perform pre-operation checks on forklifts and report any maintenance issues immediately.
  • Maintain accurate records of material movements and inventory staging.
  • Assist with inventory counts and cycle counting as required.
  • Adhere strictly to all warehouse safety rules and regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Follow all logistics and company policies to ensure operational efficiency and prevent damage.
  • Work collaboratively with warehouse staff to ensure smooth workflow and timely order fulfillment.
  • Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of obstructions.

Requirements:
  • Current and valid forklift operator certification (e.g., OSHA compliant).
  • Proven experience operating various types of forklifts in a warehouse or logistics setting.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a team.
  • Basic knowledge of inventory management is a plus.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
