Job Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Associate in our Columbus, Ohio facility. As a key member of our logistics team, you will play an integral role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods through our warehouse. Your duties will include receiving and inspecting incoming inventory, accurately picking and packing orders, staging products for shipment, and assisting with general warehouse organization and maintenance. This position demands a high level of reliability, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to workplace safety. You will be expected to operate various pieces of material handling equipment safely (training provided where necessary and certification met) and work collaboratively with your colleagues to meet daily operational goals. Proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory at all times. The role involves moderate physical activity, including frequent lifting and prolonged periods of standing and walking. Responsibilities:
  • Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
  • Accurately pick items based on order sheets and place them in appropriate containers.
  • Pack orders securely for shipment, ensuring all items are accounted for.
  • Stage finished orders for carrier pickup and loading.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery safely and efficiently (certification may be required for specific equipment).
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and cycle counts.
  • Adhere strictly to all company safety guidelines and protocols, including the mandatory use of PPE.
  • Identify and report any potential hazards or maintenance issues.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience as a warehouse associate or in a similar role is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in using RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
  • Strong understanding of logistics operations and inventory management principles.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety and willingness to follow all safety procedures, including wearing PPE.
