We are looking for enthusiastic Picker/Packers to join our fast-paced logistics operations in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This role is fundamental to our distribution center's success, involving the precise selection of items and their careful packaging for shipment. You will be instrumental in ensuring customer satisfaction by accurately fulfilling orders. Responsibilities include reading order tickets, locating items within the warehouse, and preparing them for transit. The ideal candidate will be reliable, detail-oriented, and possess a strong work ethic. Experience in a similar role is beneficial, but we are willing to train motivated individuals. We are committed to providing a safe work environment and require all employees to use appropriate PPE. This position demands physical stamina, including significant lifting and movement throughout the shift. Understanding and implementing safe lifting techniques is crucial. As part of our logistics team, you will play a key role in maintaining efficiency and accuracy in our fulfillment processes. Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret order forms to accurately pick items.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipping.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure order accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of PPE and safe lifting procedures.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in picking and packing is a plus.
- Ability to stand and move for prolonged periods.
- Capability for frequent lifting (up to 40 lbs).
- Strong attention to detail.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
