We are seeking a diligent and energetic Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team in Richmond, Virginia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of warehouse tasks, including receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and shipping. Responsibilities:
- Receive, identify, and accurately process incoming goods.
- Sort and place items on racks, shelves, or in designated storage areas.
- Pick and pack orders with precision and speed, ensuring all items are accounted for.
- Load and unload goods from trucks and other vehicles.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (training may be provided).
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on safety protocols.
- Participate in inventory counts and checks.
- Inspect goods for damage and report any discrepancies.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent standing, walking, bending, and kneeling.
- Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime.
- Understanding of basic warehouse safety procedures and the importance of wearing appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) at all times.
