We are looking for a skilled Warehouse Technician to join our Sacramento, California team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing warehouse equipment, ensuring operational efficiency and minimizing downtime. Your duties will include performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and ensuring all equipment meets safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance and repair, a thorough understanding of warehouse operations, and a commitment to safety. You will work closely with the warehouse management team and operational staff to support our logistics functions. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying potential problems and implementing effective solutions. We prioritize a safe working environment, demanding strict adherence to PPE guidelines and all established Safety protocols. The role may involve significant physical activity, including Lifting and working in various warehouse environments. Experience with various types of warehouse machinery and an understanding of Logistics systems are essential.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on warehouse equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions.
- Ensure all equipment operates safely and efficiently.
- Maintain inventory of spare parts and supplies.
- Assist with the installation of new equipment.
- Document all maintenance and repair activities.
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies.
- Proven experience as a warehouse technician or in a similar maintenance role.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of warehouse equipment and safety procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
