We are hiring a Forklift Operator for our busy Philadelphia, Pennsylvania warehouse. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts to move, stage, and transport materials throughout the facility. Key duties include conducting pre-shift equipment checks, ensuring proper stacking and storage of goods, and assisting with loading and unloading trucks. The ideal candidate will possess a valid forklift certification, previous experience in a warehouse environment, and a strong commitment to safety. You will be an integral part of our logistics team, ensuring the smooth and timely flow of products. This position involves significant physical activity, including frequent Lifting and maneuvering of materials. A good understanding of warehouse Logistics and inventory management is advantageous.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials.
- Perform daily safety checks and basic maintenance on forklifts.
- Stage products for shipping and receiving.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and assist with audits.
- Ensure all materials are stored correctly and safely.
- Follow all company safety rules and regulations.
- Certified forklift operator with at least 1 year of experience.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety best practices.
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
