Responsibilities:
- Prepare and package outgoing shipments according to company standards and carrier requirements.
- Verify order details, including product codes and quantities, before shipment.
- Generate shipping labels and necessary documentation (e.g., Bills of Lading).
- Schedule and coordinate pick-ups with various shipping carriers.
- Maintain accurate shipping records and update the WMS.
- Load outgoing shipments onto trucks, ensuring proper handling.
- Monitor shipping supplies and reorder as needed.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and promote a safe working environment, including proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Communicate with customer service and sales teams regarding shipping status.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed to support overall logistics flow.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or a similar logistics role is preferred.
- Familiarity with shipping software and carrier portals.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper PPE usage.
- Basic computer skills.
