Your primary responsibility will be to accurately pick items from inventory to fulfill customer orders, ensuring that every order is complete and correct. This role is vital for our supply chain's success, demanding precision, speed, and a strong focus on safety. You will work in a dynamic environment, utilizing technology and following established procedures to maintain high standards of performance and quality.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately select items from warehouse stock based on order slips or electronic devices.
- Verify product codes, quantities, and descriptions to ensure order accuracy.
- Stage picked items for packing and shipping, maintaining organization.
- Utilize handheld scanners to track inventory movements and update order status.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe workspace in accordance with company standards.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including proper lifting techniques and equipment operation.
- Wear all mandated PPE, ensuring its proper use and maintenance.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or potential safety issues to supervisors immediately.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity targets within the logistics department.
- Participate in inventory management activities, such as cycle counts.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, order picking, or related role is preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Capability to perform lifting duties, handling items up to 50 pounds.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Understanding of warehouse logistics principles is beneficial.
- Willingness to follow safety protocols rigorously and utilize all provided PPE.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a dedicated work ethic.
