Join our vibrant logistics operation in Sacramento, California, as an Order Picker! We are seeking motivated individuals to accurately and efficiently gather products for customer orders. This role is fundamental to our supply chain, ensuring that items are picked correctly and prepared for dispatch. You will work within a dynamic warehouse environment, utilizing scanning technology and adhering to strict safety protocols. Responsibilities:
- Locate and retrieve products from warehouse shelves according to order specifications.
- Utilize handheld scanners to track inventory and update order statuses in real-time.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items and quantities.
- Package products carefully to prevent damage during transit.
- Stage orders for shipment, ensuring proper organization.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe work area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including proper lifting techniques.
- Wear all required PPE, such as safety vests and footwear.
- Report any stock discrepancies or product damage to supervisors promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals in logistics.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counting activities.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is preferred.
- Physical ability to perform tasks requiring standing, walking, bending, and reaching for prolonged periods.
- Capacity for lifting up to 50 pounds consistently.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Familiarity with warehouse logistics systems is a plus.
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and adherence to PPE guidelines.
- Strong work ethic and a team player mentality.
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.
