We are looking for a detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our logistics team in Denver, Colorado. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring that all outgoing shipments are accurately prepared, packed, and dispatched. Your responsibilities will include verifying order details, selecting appropriate packaging materials, labeling shipments correctly, and coordinating with shipping carriers. A keen eye for detail, strong organizational abilities, and a commitment to safety are essential. This position offers a competitive hourly rate and the chance to grow within a dynamic warehouse environment. We prioritize workplace safety and expect all employees to adhere strictly to our safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The role involves frequent Lifting of packages and requires the ability to stand for extended periods and perform moderate physical tasks. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare items for shipment.
- Verify outgoing shipments against order documentation.
- Create and apply shipping labels and necessary documentation.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles and trailers.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the shipping area.
- Communicate effectively with carriers and internal departments.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Follow all company safety guidelines, including the use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Report any shipping discrepancies or damages.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse roles is advantageous.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with safe Lifting techniques and warehouse safety protocols.
