We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our dynamic logistics team in Boise, Idaho. You will be responsible for verifying shipment contents against orders, preparing shipping labels, packaging items securely, and coordinating with carriers for pickup. A strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management principles is beneficial. Your role will directly impact customer satisfaction and the overall efficiency of our supply chain. Responsibilities:
- Verify outgoing shipments against packing lists and sales orders.
- Accurately pick and pack items for shipment.
- Prepare shipping labels and documentation.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized shipping area.
- Communicate with carriers and other departments to ensure timely deliveries.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing required PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Report any discrepancies or damages immediately.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a shipping or warehouse environment preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with shipping software.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Understanding of safety regulations and proper lifting techniques.
