As a Picker/Packer, your primary duties will include accurately selecting items from warehouse shelves based on order specifications and then carefully packing these items for shipment. You will utilize scanning technology to track inventory movements and ensure order accuracy. This role requires a good pace, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. We prioritize safety and will provide all necessary PPE. This is a physically demanding role that involves standing for extended periods, walking, bending, and lifting. Proper lifting techniques are essential, and candidates should be comfortable lifting up to 40 pounds. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse inventory according to customer orders.
- Use handheld scanners to manage inventory and track order progress.
- Carefully pack picked items into appropriate shipping containers.
- Ensure all orders are packed correctly, including necessary protective materials.
- Label packages accurately for shipment.
- Stage packed orders for the shipping department.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and use required PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and assist with stock organization.
- Follow proper lifting techniques to ensure personal and team safety.
- Contribute to the efficient flow of goods through our logistics network.
