We have an exciting opening for an Order Picker in our Fort Worth, Texas facility! Join a dedicated logistics team focused on precision and efficiency in fulfilling customer orders. As an Order Picker, you will be instrumental in ensuring that the right products are gathered accurately and prepared for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately locate and retrieve items from warehouse shelves using pick lists or scanners.
- Verify product codes and quantities to guarantee order accuracy.
- Use material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks, to move items efficiently.
- Pack orders securely for shipment, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to all logistics safety standards.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Report any inventory discrepancies, damaged items, or safety hazards to supervisors promptly.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and stock replenishment activities.
- Work cooperatively with team members to meet or exceed daily picking and packing targets.
- Perform other warehouse support duties as assigned to ensure operational flow.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment is preferred. Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 40 lbs. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Understanding of basic warehouse safety principles. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Good teamwork and communication skills. Reliability and punctuality are essential.
