Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to move, load, and unload materials safely.
- Conduct daily inspections of equipment to ensure proper functionality and identify potential issues.
- Transport goods from receiving areas to storage locations and prepare them for outbound shipment.
- Follow all directives from supervisors regarding the movement and placement of inventory.
- Maintain accurate records of material movement and inventory adjustments.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies, including the correct use of PPE.
- Keep the warehouse aisles and work areas clear and organized to prevent accidents.
- Report any accidents, incidents, or equipment malfunctions immediately.
- Collaborate with warehouse associates and management to achieve operational efficiency in our logistics processes.
- Perform other warehouse duties as needed to support the overall success of the facility.
Qualifications:
Certified forklift operator with demonstrated experience. High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Strong understanding of warehouse logistics and safety best practices. Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness. Must be reliable, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Effective communication skills. Willingness to work flexible shifts and overtime when required.
