Seeking a motivated Picker/Packer in Salt Lake City, Utah, to join our expanding logistics team! This role is essential for ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. You will be responsible for identifying, picking, and packaging products from our warehouse inventory. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products based on order forms or scanner data.
- Package items securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Verify item counts and product details against order specifications.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks, safely.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace, free from hazards.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory management tasks, including cycle counts.
- Report any discrepancies or damages encountered during the picking and packing process.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet and exceed productivity targets in a fast-paced logistics setting.
- Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned to support the team.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in picking, packing, or general warehouse work is preferred. Must be able to perform frequent lifting of up to 40 lbs. Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Understanding and commitment to workplace safety. Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines. Good teamwork and communication skills. Reliable and punctual.
