Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Distribution Center Associate to join our team in Richmond, Virginia. This role is vital to the efficient operation of our warehouse, encompassing a range of tasks from receiving and stocking to order fulfillment and shipping. You will be responsible for handling a variety of products, utilizing warehouse equipment, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of inventory. This is a comprehensive role within our logistics network, requiring a strong work ethic and the ability to adapt to different operational needs. We prioritize a safe working environment, and all associates are expected to strictly adhere to our safety procedures. You will have the opportunity to learn various aspects of warehouse management and contribute to a high-performing team. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to our company's success. Training will be provided for all necessary tasks and equipment.
Responsibilities:
  • Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
  • Stock merchandise accurately into designated warehouse locations.
  • Pick and pack orders for shipment according to company standards.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
  • Conduct inventory counts and assist with reconciliation.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures, focusing on safety compliance.
  • Meet or exceed productivity and quality goals.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous experience as a warehouse associate or in a related field is beneficial.
  • Ability to operate various types of warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).
  • Proficiency with RF scanners and warehouse management systems is a plus.
  • Must be physically capable of standing, walking, and reaching for extended periods.
  • Ability to perform frequent lifting of up to 60 pounds.
  • Commitment to wearing all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE ), such as steel-toed boots and safety vests.
  • Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
