Join our distribution center in Sacramento, California, as an Order Picker! This position is key to ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. You will be responsible for selecting items from warehouse shelves according to specific order details, utilizing various tools and technologies. This role requires a sharp eye for detail, efficiency, and a commitment to Safety. As part of our Logistics team, you'll contribute to the smooth flow of goods and play a vital part in our company's operational success. Responsibilities:
- Locate and pick specified items from warehouse shelves using order lists or electronic scanners.
- Verify product codes and quantities against order requirements to ensure accuracy.
- Pack picked items securely for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Operate pallet jacks and other manual equipment for transporting goods, following safe Lifting techniques.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area, adhering to all Safety guidelines.
- Report any stock discrepancies, damages, or equipment issues to supervisors.
- Participate in inventory checks and stock replenishment as directed.
- Consistently use required PPE to ensure personal Safety.
- Contribute to the efficiency of our Logistics operations by meeting established picking rates.
- Adhere strictly to all warehouse Safety procedures and protocols.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in order picking or general warehouse work is advantageous.
- Ability to accurately read and interpret order tickets and product labels.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Physical capacity for prolonged standing, walking, bending, and repetitive Lifting of items up to 40 lbs.
- Familiarity with basic warehouse equipment operation.
- A strong understanding of and adherence to Safety practices and PPE usage.
- Basic knowledge of warehouse Logistics is beneficial.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
