We are seeking a diligent Material Handler to join our team in Miami, Florida. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for the movement, storage, and organization of materials within our warehouse. Your role is critical to maintaining efficient operations and ensuring that products are available when and where they are needed, supporting our Logistics network. This position requires physical stamina, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to Safety. Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and log incoming materials.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
- Store materials in designated locations, ensuring proper organization and inventory control.
- Load and unload shipments, ensuring safe practices for Lifting and handling.
- Identify and report damaged materials or equipment malfunctions.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment, adhering to all Safety regulations.
- Participate in inventory counts and assist with stock management.
- Ensure proper use of PPE provided for specific tasks.
- Support the Logistics department by ensuring timely and accurate movement of goods.
- Follow all company Safety policies and procedures to prevent accidents.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a material handler or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and proficiently.
- Knowledge of warehouse Safety procedures and protocols.
- Physical ability to perform tasks involving frequent Lifting, pushing, and pulling.
- Capacity for Lifting up to 60 lbs regularly.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Understanding of basic Logistics and inventory management concepts.
- Willingness to wear required PPE.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
