Seeking a diligent and reliable Warehouse Associate to join our operations in Boston, Massachusetts. In this role, you will be a key player in ensuring the efficient handling and movement of goods within our facility. Your responsibilities will include a wide range of warehouse activities such as receiving shipments, stocking inventory, picking and packing orders accurately, and preparing items for dispatch. You will work in a dynamic environment, contributing to the overall success of our Logistics operations. A strong emphasis is placed on maintaining a safe working environment, requiring strict adherence to all Safety protocols and the consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE ) including safety glasses and work boots. This position involves significant physical activity, including frequent Lifting (up to 50 lbs), bending, standing, and walking throughout the shift. We are looking for individuals who are detail-oriented, possess good organizational skills, and can work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Prior warehouse experience is beneficial, but a strong work ethic and a commitment to safety are most important. Responsibilities:
- Accurately receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Sort and stock inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all Safety guidelines and use required PPE at all times.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counts.
- Support overall warehouse and Logistics functions as directed.
- Perform tasks that require physical exertion, including repetitive motions and Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Contribute to team efforts and ensure efficient operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform Lifting duties up to 50 lbs throughout the shift.
- Awareness of warehouse Safety best practices and proper use of PPE .
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Understanding of basic Logistics and inventory management is a plus.
- Reliability and a positive attitude.
