We are hiring a skilled Reach Truck Operator to join our state-of-the-art warehouse facility in Raleigh, North Carolina. As a Reach Truck Operator, you will be responsible for efficiently and safely operating specialized equipment to handle and move products within our high-rack storage systems. This role is essential for maintaining optimal inventory levels and ensuring timely order fulfillment. - Operate a reach truck to move, store, and retrieve palletized goods in high-bay racking systems.
- Perform pre-shift inspections of the reach truck to ensure operational readiness and safety.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and operational procedures.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through scanning and system updates.
- Ensure the safe and efficient loading and unloading of inbound and outbound shipments.
- Practice proper Lifting techniques when handling products manually.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Utilize provided PPE, including safety shoes and vests.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding operational needs.
- Contribute to team goals and operational efficiency within the Logistics department.
- Proven experience operating a reach truck in a warehouse environment.
- Certification or demonstrable proficiency in reach truck operation.
- Ability to work at heights and navigate narrow aisles.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety standards and procedures.
- Experience with inventory management systems.
- Capability for moderate Lifting (up to 40 lbs).
- Excellent spatial awareness and precision.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Familiarity with Logistics and supply chain processes is beneficial.
