You will be responsible for accurately selecting items from inventory and meticulously preparing them for shipment. This position requires a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include reading order tickets, using scanning equipment, and ensuring the correct items are picked and packaged according to our high standards. We emphasize a safe working environment and provide all necessary PPE. This role involves standing for extended periods, walking, and manual dexterity, as well as occasional lifting of materials. A thorough understanding of safe lifting practices is essential. As a Picker/Packer, you are a vital link in our supply chain, ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from inventory based on order specifications.
- Pack orders efficiently and securely for shipment.
- Verify product information and quantities against order details.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, including the correct use of PPE and safe lifting techniques.
- Utilize warehouse equipment and scanning devices as required.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity goals.
- Assist with inventory management tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or warehouse operations is preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods.
- Capacity for frequent lifting of items up to 35 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Basic understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
