Join our vibrant logistics team as an Order Picker in Nashville, Tennessee. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for shipment. This position is essential to our daily operations, ensuring that our clients receive the correct items in a timely manner. You will use scanning equipment to track inventory and update order statuses. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy are paramount. The ideal candidate will have experience in a warehouse or distribution environment and a strong understanding of order fulfillment processes. We prioritize a safe working environment and provide all necessary PPE. This role involves frequent walking, standing, and manual dexterity for picking various items. The ability to lift moderate weights is also required. You will be working closely with other team members to achieve daily picking targets and contribute to the overall efficiency of our logistics operations. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Verify product information against order details.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including proper use of PPE and safe lifting practices.
- Report any inventory discrepancies to supervisors.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in order picking or warehouse operations preferred.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Dexterity to handle small to medium-sized items.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of warehouse safety.
