You will be involved in a wide range of activities, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Receive, verify, and accurately record incoming inventory.
- Organize and store products in designated warehouse locations, ensuring proper rotation.
- Fulfill customer orders by accurately picking and packing items.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, ensuring all items are correctly documented.
- Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently (e.g., pallet jacks, potentially forklifts with certification/training).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in line with company standards.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and audits to ensure accuracy.
- Inspect products for quality and report any damages or discrepancies.
- Strictly adhere to all safety protocols and company policies, including the correct use of PPE.
- Collaborate effectively with other team members to achieve departmental objectives.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or logistics environment is a plus.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
- Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Good communication and teamwork capabilities.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime and weekends.
- A strong commitment to workplace safety and the correct use of PPE.
