We are hiring a dedicated Warehouse Associate for our facility in Virginia Beach, Virginia. In this role, you will be an integral part of our logistics team, responsible for the efficient handling of goods throughout the warehouse. Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Stock inventory in designated areas, ensuring proper rotation and organization.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders and prepare them for packing.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles.
- Operate material handling equipment safely (e.g., pallet jacks, potentially forklifts with training).
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe warehouse environment.
- Participate in inventory management activities, including cycle counts.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet daily operational targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is advantageous.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Capability to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Flexibility to work different shifts and overtime as needed.
- A strong commitment to safety practices and the proper use of PPE is essential.
