Our busy logistics facility in Sacramento, California, is seeking dedicated Picker/Packers to join our team. In this essential role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting products from warehouse shelves and preparing them for shipment to our valued customers. Your primary objective will be to ensure that orders are picked and packed with speed and precision, contributing directly to the efficiency of our supply chain. Key duties include using RF scanners to locate and retrieve items, verifying product accuracy and quantity, and ensuring items are free from damage. You will then carefully pack these items into appropriate shipping containers, ensuring they are secure for transit and correctly labeled. This position requires physical dexterity and stamina, including standing for extended periods, walking, bending, and moderate lifting (up to 50 pounds). Safety is of utmost importance; all Picker/Packers must adhere to strict safety guidelines, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and maintain a safe working environment for themselves and their colleagues. We are looking for energetic, detail-oriented individuals who are reliable and work well in a team-oriented setting. While previous warehouse or picking/packing experience is beneficial, we provide thorough training for motivated candidates. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick orders using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Identify and retrieve correct items and quantities from designated locations.
- Inspect items for damage or defects before packing.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently into appropriate containers.
- Apply shipping labels accurately to packages.
- Stage packed orders for outgoing shipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Meet established productivity and accuracy goals.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts as directed.
- Practice safe lifting techniques for items up to 50 lbs.
- Support overall logistics operations as needed.
