Job Summary:
Lead our dedicated team in Minneapolis, Minnesota, as a Warehouse Supervisor! We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to oversee the daily operations of our fast-paced logistics facility. This critical role requires exceptional leadership, a comprehensive understanding of warehouse management, and a steadfast commitment to safety and efficiency. You will be responsible for managing staff, optimizing workflow, ensuring inventory accuracy, and upholding the highest standards of operational excellence. Your ability to motivate your team and implement best practices will be crucial to driving productivity and achieving our goals.
Responsibilities:
  • Supervise, train, and mentor warehouse associates, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Oversee all inbound and outbound logistics operations, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Ensure the accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders.
  • Manage inventory levels through regular cycle counts and system updates.
  • Implement and enforce all company safety policies and procedures, emphasizing proper lifting techniques and the correct use of PPE.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and address any identified risks promptly.
  • Optimize warehouse layout and workflow to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement strategies for improvement.
  • Manage equipment maintenance schedules and ensure safe operation of all machinery.
  • Liaise with carriers and suppliers to ensure smooth transportation and delivery.
  • Resolve operational issues and customer complaints effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and employee performance.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork within the logistics department.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory or management role.
  • In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics best practices.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and relevant software.
  • Demonstrated understanding of OSHA regulations and workplace safety, including PPE requirements.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks when necessary, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Flexible availability, including occasional evenings and weekends.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and resolving challenges.
