You will be responsible for unloading shipments, verifying contents against documentation, inspecting goods, picking and packing orders, and preparing them for dispatch. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Inspect received goods for damage and discrepancies.
- Accurately stock inventory in designated locations.
- Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing orders for shipment.
- Load and unload trailers efficiently and safely.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and cycle checks.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Communicate effectively with vendors, drivers, and internal teams.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in shipping and receiving or general warehouse operations.
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Proficiency with warehouse equipment (forklift certification a plus).
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Understanding of safety regulations and best practices for Lifting.
