We are looking for a dedicated Warehouse Worker to join our growing logistics team in Portland, Oregon. This position is critical for the smooth operation of our distribution center. You will be involved in various aspects of warehouse management, including receiving, stocking, order fulfillment, and shipping. A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety are essential for success in this role. Your contribution will directly support our supply chain efficiency and ensure customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Stock and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Accurately pick and pack orders based on customer requirements.
- Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling and documentation.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, following all logistics protocols.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, ensuring the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Perform tasks requiring consistent lifting and moving of products, up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and perform frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse safety best practices.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is an advantage.
- Willingness to comply with all safety regulations and wear required PPE.
