Position Summary
The Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating and treating patients in accordance with physician orders, established clinical practices, and regulatory requirements. This role collaborates closely with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver effective, compassionate, and person-centered care. The Physical Therapist ensures accurate and timely documentation and supports ongoing education and restorative programming.
Key Responsibilities
* Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
* Provide skilled physical therapy services in compliance with professional standards, state practice acts, and reimbursement guidelines
* Accurately document evaluations, treatments, progress notes, and discharge summaries in the medical record
* Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members
* Conduct in-services and ongoing education for patients, clients, and staff related to restorative and therapeutic techniques
* Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants and therapy students in accordance with state regulations
* Uphold patient rights by treating all individuals with dignity, kindness, and respect
* Maintain compliance with company policies, departmental procedures, and ethical standards
* Promote teamwork and collaboration by supporting colleagues and sharing relevant information
Qualifications
* Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
* Current state Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain licensure in the state of practice
* Commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centered care with compassion and integrity
* Strong professional judgment, accountability, and ethical conduct
* Ability to model a positive, professional image aligned with company values
