Role Description This is a full‑time, on‑site position in the United Kingdom for an Electrical and Mechanical Design Engineer and PLC Software Engineer. Responsibilities include designing and developing mechanical and electrical systems; creating and testing PLC software; troubleshooting and resolving system issues; collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver efficient engineering solutions; ensuring all designs meet required safety and quality standards while staying up‑to‑date with industry advancements.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Electrical and Mechanical Design, including system integration and component selection.
Hands‑on experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and software programming for automation.
Strong problem‑solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills related to mechanical and electrical systems.
Excellent teamwork, communication, and project management abilities to collaborate across departments.
Knowledge of engineering standards and commitment to safety and quality compliance.
Familiarity with CAD software, technical documentation, and design tools is advantageous.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Industry experience in ground support equipment or machinery design is a plus.
