The Role As
Software Engineering Manager , you'll play a key leadership role within the Engineering function, reporting directly to the Director of Engineering.
You'll be responsible for:
Leading
multiple agile engineering teams
Driving
high-quality software delivery
aligned to the product roadmap
Developing engineers through
coaching, mentorship, and clear technical direction
Owning
capacity planning, resourcing, and delivery forecasting
Partnering closely with
Product Management, Architects, and senior stakeholders
You'll also be a core member of the leadership team within the
Belfast Centre of Excellence , helping to build a high-performance culture and supporting the organisation's continued growth.

What You'll Be Doing
Driving team performance to meet business and product goals
Building, developing, and retaining
high-performing agile engineering teams
Embedding best practices across engineering, documentation, and operational support
Collaborating across IT and the wider business to deliver shared outcomes
Understanding business needs and translating them into effective technical delivery
About You You'll be a strong fit if you:
Have
10+ years' industry experience , with at least
5 years leading agile engineering teams
Have experience managing
multiple teams
and maintaining delivery capacity planning
Are comfortable building and supporting
highly scalable production systems
Have strong
stakeholder management and communication skills
Bring experience across
mobile and web technologies
Are a natural problem solver who enjoys guiding teams through complex challenges
Care deeply about people development, quality, and continuous improvement
