*Key Responsibilities:*
* Perform routine pediatric dental examinations, cleanings, and preventive care.
* Diagnose and treat dental conditions such as caries, gum diseases, and developmental issues in primary and mixed dentition.
* Provide restorative treatments including fillings, crowns, and space maintainers.
* Administer nitrous oxide and/or local anesthesia for procedures, ensuring patient comfort.
* Collaborate with parents and caregivers to explain treatment plans, oral hygiene practices, and preventive strategies.
* Maintain accurate patient records and follow clinical protocols.
* Manage dental emergencies and pediatric trauma cases with confidence and empathy.
* Work effectively with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure optimal patient care.
* Stay up to date with the latest pediatric dental technologies, treatments, and best practices.
*Qualifications:*
* DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
* Valid dental license
* Current certifications
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* A genuine passion for working with children and creating positive dental experiences.
* Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort.
* Maintain accurate patient records while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
* Educate patients on oral health practices and preventive care measures.
