Dining Room Server

Dining Room Server (part-time):

$18-$20/hr

We are hiring a part-time Dining Room Server Come make a difference in the lives of seniors

Must be available to work Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday from 10am-6:30pm.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Seat all residents at each meal, making sure that all resident concerns are addressed.
• Assist in timely delivery of meals when needed, and assist in any other kitchen work as needed to support the team.
• Ensure all opening and closing kitchen side work is completed correctly.
• Takes resident(s) meal orders and serves meals correctively and efficiently using exceptional customer service techniques.
• Assists residents to make selections.
• Sets tables with napkins and tableware according to company standards.
• Refills condiments and salt and pepper shakers.
• Makes coffee, tea, juices and stocks the coffee bar.
• Breaks down, cleans, and puts together all beverage dispensing equipment.
• Clears table and transports dishes to the dish room.
• Cleans dining room tables and chairs and vacuums dining room.
• Delivers trays to rooms of those residents who request room service.
• May perform all kitchen helper and dishwasher duties as needed.
• Performs any other job related duties requested by their supervisor.
• Understands and abides by all emergency procedures.
• Reports all safety concerns or hazardous issues immediately to the supervisor.
• Uses proper lifting practices at all times.
• Maintains company standards for attendance and punctuality.
• Maintains company and department personal appearance standards.
• Provide a clean and safe kitchen area for our staff
• Must wash and clean tableware, pots, pans and cooking equipment.
• Keep the dish room and equipment clean and organized.

Customer Service:

• Assists in seating residents.
• Uses legible handwriting to write guest checks
• Understands and adapts to the needs of "service sequence".
• Uses proper service skill technique to provide residents professional service.
• Understands and applies the finer points of table service.
• Maintains a professional and positive attitude with other departments and their staff.
