space-rated imaging, video processing, and edge compute systems
. We're looking for both a
Senior
and a
Lead Electrical/Electronics Engineer
to join our core engineering team and drive the development of new, mission-critical hardware supporting advanced video and sensor products used in space and national security applications.
If you're passionate about hands-on hardware design, high-speed digital systems, and pushing the boundaries of what's possible in aerospace video technology, this is a high-impact opportunity.
What You'll Do
- Lead or contribute to the design and development of
camera, compute, and storage electronics
for advanced aerospace systems. - Architect hardware involving image sensors, image processors, high-speed memory, and digital interconnects.
- Own circuit design, schematic capture, and PCB layout for high-performance video subsystems.
- Work closely with software, mechanical, and product teams to define system requirements and integrate complex hardware.
- Debug and validate high-speed digital designs using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and protocol analyzers.
- Stay current with new imaging, compute, and embedded technologies to drive next-gen product innovation.
- Support test plan development and collaborate with manufacturing partners.
- (Lead Level) Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and ownership of major subsystems.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 5–10+ years
of hands-on engineering experience (Senior or Lead level). - Strong background in
high-speed digital hardware design
. - Experience with
video systems, digital imaging, or camera technologies
(strong plus). - Proficient in
Altium, Cadence
, or similar PCB/schematic tools. - Familiarity with high-speed interfaces such as
MIPI, SLVS, HDMI, USB, Ethernet
, etc. - Solid understanding of embedded systems and hardware/software integration.
- Demonstrated ability to debug complex digital hardware.
- Experience in aerospace, defense, or space-rated electronics is a plus.
- Ability to work onsite in Irvine in a fast-paced, hands-on startup environment.
