HVAC Install Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist lead installers with the installation of residential HVAC systems and related accessories
• Help prepare job sites, including moving equipment, staging tools, and organizing materials
• Crawl in attics and crawl spaces, climb ladders, and work outdoors as needed
• Support lead technicians during equipment start-up, testing, and commissioning
• Assist in running piping, ductwork, and wiring under the supervision of a lead installer
• Learn and apply safe brazing, piping, and installation techniques
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and company vehicles
• Communicate professionally and courteously with customers
• Stay informed about new tools, equipment, and products
• Represent the company with professionalism and a positive attitude
• Perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Ability to lift 50–100 lbs regularly (this role involves heavy lifting)
• Some experience in HVAC, construction, mechanical, or related fields is preferred (HVAC experience a plus but not required)
• EPA Certification is a bonus but not required for hire
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training and pursue certifications
• Must pass pre-employment drug screenings and background checks
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record, with proof of safe driving practices (recent DMV record)
