Skills Required

Skills Preferred

• Strong planning skills, organizational awareness, and interpersonal effectiveness to successfully navigate complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
• Ability to facilitate collaboration between technical teams, program leads, and data stakeholders. Possess strong problem-solving skills to proactively identify and resolve project impediments, manage competing priorities, and maintain momentum.
• Familiarity with common issues encountered in enterprise data and system integration projects.
• Technical knowledge sufficient to evaluate data-related project components, validate deliverables, and guide effective decision-making.
• Experience working within Agile teams and managing Kanban boards to coordinate iterative delivery, track progress, and communicate status to stakeholders. A demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional projects, coordinate input from multiple sources, and support change management.

Experience Required

• This classification requires a minimum of seven (7) years of broad, extensive and increasingly responsible experience applying PM principles, methods, techniques, and tools.
• At least four (4) years of that experience must have been as a senior PM of one or more large or complex IT project.

Experience Preferred

• In the past 4 years, verified management of the following: at least three (3) complex IT or Enterprise data-related projects that required the application of Scrum, Kanban, and Agile methodologies to manage cross-functional projects by following project management principles across multiple and diverse stakeholder agencies, including the assessment and evaluation of business processes, data governance practices, or system integration outcomes;
• at least 3 projects that involved data sharing across departments or organizations, with demonstrated use of problem-solving techniques to address data standardization, access, or interoperability challenges.
• at least 3 projects that required a working familiarity with cloud-based data management environments, system interfaces, and data quality assurance, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to data integration and system compatibility.
• Four (4) years of verified experience and skills working on Jira for project tracking, dashboarding, and Confluence for documentation and collaboration, or similar.

Education Required

• a bachelor's degree, and (b) a valid Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
• Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
• The PMP certification is required and may not be substituted with additional experience.
