Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the dining room team, including servers, hosts, bartenders, and support staff, ensuring smooth shift operations.
• Manage POS systems (Toast).
• Maintain inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability.
• Implement staff training programs focused on customer service excellence, food safety, food handling procedures, and operational protocols.
• Coordinate with kitchen management to ensure seamless food production, timely service, and adherence to health regulations.
• Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure every guest leaves satisfied with their dining experience.
• Oversee shift management duties including scheduling
• Conduct interviewing in conjunction with GM
• Support catering events and banquet functions when needed to diversify revenue streams.

Experience

• Proven management experience within the food service industry, ideally in casual or fine dining environments.
• Strong background in restaurant cultures.
• Familiarity with POS systems Toast a big plus
• Demonstrated supervising experience with a focus on team development and training & development initiatives.
• Experience managing schedules.
• Previous roles involving shift management, customer service excellence, and hospitality leadership are highly valued. Pay: $ $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 28 – 32 per week
