About the Role
:

As a Senior Team Leader, you will be entrusted with a critical leadership role, overseeing and guiding a team of professionals to achieve operational excellence and drive business success. Reporting to upper management, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment while ensuring the team meets or exceeds performance targets and objectives.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of employees, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to support their professional development and performance improvement.
  • Set clear performance expectations and objectives for team members, aligning them with departmental and organizational goals.
  • Monitor and evaluate team performance, providing regular feedback, recognition, and support to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to optimize workflow processes, resolve operational issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve team effectiveness, communication, and collaboration, fostering a positive and inclusive work culture.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and standards, promoting compliance with regulatory requirements and ethical guidelines.
  • Manage day-to-day operations and workflows, prioritizing tasks, allocating resources, and resolving escalated issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Generate and analyze performance metrics and reports, identifying trends, insights, and areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Serve as a point of contact for team members, addressing concerns, providing support, and facilitating resolution of challenges or conflicts.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies relevant to the team's function, sharing knowledge and insights with team members.

Qualifications

  • HS Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role, preferably in a similar industry or environment.
  • Proven track record of success in leading and developing high-performing teams, achieving performance targets, and driving operational excellence.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to effectively engage and motivate team members.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a strategic mindset and analytical approach to resolving complex issues.
  • Proficiency in project management, organizational development, and change management principles and practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing priorities, work under pressure, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development, with a passion for staying updated on industry trends and best practices.
