• Position is 100% onsite at TA-50/55. Remote or hybrid work is not permitted.

Impact
This is a high-impact opportunity to support national security work in one of the most sophisticated nuclear environments in the country. You'll contribute directly to the safe execution of critical DOE/NNSA missions and build expertise in nuclear facility operations, infrastructure support, and radiological protocols.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide daily operational support to facility managers, engineers, and technical leads.
• Support infrastructure installation, modification, and decommissioning projects.
• Help monitor field operations for compliance with safety protocols and work procedures.
• Assist with logistics tracking, documentation, and readiness review preparation.
• Collaborate with subcontractors and internal stakeholders to coordinate schedules and access.
• Participate in glovebox operations, Radiological Work Permit (RWP) adherence, and PPE use.
• Champion safe work practices and contribute to continuous operational improvement.

Minimum Qualifications

• 5+ years in operations, construction coordination, or technical program support.
• Experience working in high-security or hazardous environments.
• Proficiency with glovebox operations, radiological protocols, or facility infrastructure projects.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Familiarity with LANL systems (LANMAS, LAMCAS, EVMS) strongly preferred.

Desired Skills

• Radiological Worker II certification
• Glovebox Operations (GBO 1) certified
• Fissile Material Handler (FMH)
• HAZWOPER certification
• PAPR/APR respirator qualification
• Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Experience on LANL or other DOE/NNSA contracts

Education and Experience Requirements

• Position typically requires a bachelor?s degree and a minimum five years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
