- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Q Clearance. Applicants without this ability will not be considered.
- Position is 100% onsite at TA-50/55. Remote or hybrid work is not permitted.
- Applicants must be U.S. citizens.

Impact
This is a high-impact opportunity to support national security work in one of the most sophisticated nuclear environments in the country. You'll contribute directly to the safe execution of critical DOE/NNSA missions and build expertise in nuclear facility operations, infrastructure support, and radiological protocols.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide daily operational support to facility managers, engineers, and technical leads.
- Support infrastructure installation, modification, and decommissioning projects.
- Help monitor field operations for compliance with safety protocols and work procedures.
- Assist with logistics tracking, documentation, and readiness review preparation.
- Collaborate with subcontractors and internal stakeholders to coordinate schedules and access.
- Participate in glovebox operations, Radiological Work Permit (RWP) adherence, and PPE use.
- Champion safe work practices and contribute to continuous operational improvement.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years in operations, construction coordination, or technical program support.
- Experience working in high-security or hazardous environments.
- Proficiency with glovebox operations, radiological protocols, or facility infrastructure projects.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Familiarity with LANL systems (LANMAS, LAMCAS, EVMS) strongly preferred.
Desired Skills
- Radiological Worker II certification
- Glovebox Operations (GBO 1) certified
- Fissile Material Handler (FMH)
- HAZWOPER certification
- PAPR/APR respirator qualification
- Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience on LANL or other DOE/NNSA contracts
Education and Experience Requirements
- Position typically requires a bachelor?s degree and a minimum five years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
