Caregiver

Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated caregivers to provide high-quality support to individuals in our family owned and operated memory care community. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our residents through personalized care and assistance with daily living activities. This role requires a blend of patience, empathy, and practical skills to ensure the well-being and comfort of those we serve.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for residents.
• Assist residents with mobility using equipment such as Hoyer lifts when necessary.
• Engage residents in social activities and promote their independence while ensuring safety.
• Implement care plans tailored to individual needs, including those for memory care or dementia support.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations while providing care.

Requirements

• Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as home health, hospice care, or senior care is preferred.
• Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification is highly desirable.
• Strong patient observation skills with the ability to monitor changes in physical or emotional conditions.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $25.00 per hour
