Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic McFlamingo Manager/Chef to oversee culinary operations and team management in a vibrant, hospitality-focused environment. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in food preparation, restaurant management, and team leadership, ensuring exceptional dining experiences for our guests. This role involves supervising kitchen staff, managing food quality and safety standards, and coordinating menu planning to deliver innovative culinary offerings. The McFlamingo Manager/Chef will play a key role in maintaining high standards of service, efficiency, and hospitality excellence.
Duties
- Lead and supervise the kitchen team, including chefs, cooks, and support staff, ensuring smooth daily operations
- Oversee food preparation, presentation, and quality control to meet fine dining standards
- Manage inventory control and food safety procedures in compliance with health regulations
- Plan menus that align with brand standards and customer preferences, incorporating catering and special event needs
- Coordinate shift schedules and manage staffing levels to optimize productivity and service quality
- Oversee food handling, storage, and sanitation practices to ensure a safe dining environment
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery
- Monitor kitchen equipment maintenance and coordinate repairs as needed
- Implement training programs for staff development in culinary techniques, food safety, and customer service
- Manage catering orders and special event preparations with attention to detail and timeliness
Skills
- Proven experience in banquet service, fine dining, or restaurant management with a focus on culinary excellence
- Strong supervising experience with demonstrated leadership capabilities in a fast-paced environment
- Background in dietary department management or food production is highly desirable
- Expertise in inventory management, inventory control, and food cost optimization
- Excellent food preparation skills along with comprehensive knowledge of kitchen operations and safety standards
- Ability to lead teams effectively through team management and leadership skills
- Experience in menu planning, shift management, and catering coordination
- Knowledge of the food industry trends including culinary techniques and hospitality best practices
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in food handling, service management, and kitchen operations
- Exceptional communication skills to foster teamwork and ensure high-quality service delivery

Pay: $ $26.00 per hour
