Metal Roofing Estimator/Project Manager

Metal Panels Inc is looking for a talented and detail-oriented Metal Roofing Estimator/Project Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for estimating projects, preparing detailed estimates and other preconstruction duties. You will play a crucial role in following up with customers, answering their queries, and ensuring they receive the best service possible throughout their experience with us. In addition to being a good communicator, all candidates should be creative thinkers with excellent problem-solving skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Consult with customers on a per project basis to determine the appropriate application by product type, providing updates and addressing concerns to ensure customer satisfaction.

· Review on-line information from iSqFt- Construct Connect and other various sources to target metal roofing projects to bid.

· Prepare material take-off's based on drawings and specifications and submit to customers in a timely manner.

· Create roof drawings using AppliCad takeoff software to produce roofing estimates from information provided by customers.

· Consult with customers on a per project basis to determine the appropriate application by product type, providing updates and addressing concerns to ensure customer satisfaction.

· Ensure information on a quote contains all necessary information to release to production for fabrication.

Requirements:

· Proven experience as a Roofing Estimator or similar role in the construction/roofing industry.

· Strong knowledge of roofing systems and materials.

· Proficiency in roofing estimation software or ability to quickly learn.

· Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.

· Works well with others, possesses a high degree of interpersonal skills, and can create a working relationship with customers.

· Sets high personal standard for consistent above-average performance.

· Must have the ability to deal with stressful situations in a calm manner.

· Must be able to work as a team to complete complicated, time-sensitive goals.

Experience:

· 2 years of installing metal roofs or estimating experience or construction related experience will be helpful.

· Must be able to read blueprints.

· Experience with Auto CAD or Microsoft Dynamics, Microsoft 365 – Business Central will be beneficial.

· Detail-oriented and organizational skills a must.

· Solid customer service and communication skills.

· Working in a fast-paced and team-oriented role.

Job Type: Full-time

Compensation: DOE base salary, plus quarterly profit sharing and monthly commission
