Overview
We're seeking motivated, patient-centered RNs who want to step into a teaching role—no prior classroom experience needed. As a Clinical Instructor in our BSN program, you'll guide students through hands-on training, support their growth, and help them become safe, confident professionals. This role is ideal for nurses who love mentoring, enjoy educating at the bedside, and want a meaningful career shift without bedside burnout.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and supervise students during clinical rotations in hospitals, clinics, and simulation labs
  • Teach and reinforce essential nursing skills, including assessments, medication administration, documentation, and patient safety
  • Facilitate pre- and post-clinical discussions to strengthen critical thinking
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and formal evaluation of student performance
  • Ensure clinical experiences align with BSN program and accreditation standards
  • Collaborate with faculty, preceptors, and clinical site staff to coordinate schedules and maintain strong partnerships
  • Maintain your own clinical competency and model professionalism at all times

Qualifications

  • Active RN license issued by the State Board of Registered Nursing
  • Master's degree in Nursing (or higher) with relevant coursework in education, admin, pediatrics, OB, psych, etc.
  • Minimum 4 years of direct RN patient-care experience
  • At least 1 year of recent clinical experience within the last 5 years (clinical teaching counts)
  • Clinical competence per CCR Section 1420(c)
  • Specialty expertise in OB-GYN, Pediatrics, Psychiatry, or a related focus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $ $70.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
