As a Security Officer - Hospital Full Time in Erie, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents and promote a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible throughout the facility, and provide exceptional customer service while responding to various situations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies in a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols and client guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
• Assist with emergency response activities as appropriate, including supporting medical staff and coordinating with emergency services when needed.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to site and Allied Universal procedures.
• Communicate professionally with patients, staff, and visitors to address concerns and provide assistance as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Vaccines are required for this hospital site.
• This hospital site includes a morgue.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Applicants must be able to restrain individuals as required at this hospital site.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
