Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sheet Metal Supervisor to lead and oversee sheet metal fabrication and installation projects on construction sites. This role is vital in ensuring that all work is executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. As a Sheet Metal Supervisor, you will coordinate teams, manage project schedules, review blueprints and schematics, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Your leadership will drive project success from start to finish, fostering a collaborative environment that emphasizes craftsmanship, safety, and timely delivery.

Duties

• Lead and supervise sheet metal crews during fabrication and installation activities on construction sites.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate execution of work.
• Manage project schedules using construction management software such as Primavera P6 or ProCore to meet deadlines.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to align project goals and resolve issues promptly.
• Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets specifications, schematics, and safety standards.
• Oversee safety protocols in accordance with OSHA regulations; enforce proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Utilize tools such as Ohmmeters for electrical testing and ensure all work complies with industry standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation of work progress, change orders, and daily reports using Bluebeam or similar software.
• Assist in budgeting and cost control by monitoring material usage and labor hours; participate in construction estimating when needed.
• Supervise the use of construction management software for project scheduling, tracking progress, and resource allocation.

Experience

• Proven management experience supervising sheet metal or HVAC installation teams on commercial or industrial construction projects.
• Extensive construction site experience with a strong understanding of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating.
• Familiarity with construction management software such as Primavera P6, ProCore, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, or Primavera P6 for scheduling and documentation purposes.
• Knowledge of contracts management and adherence to OSHA safety standards; OSHA certification preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to read schematics accurately and utilize tools like Ohmmeters for electrical testing.
• Supervising experience demonstrating leadership skills in managing teams effectively while maintaining high safety standards.
• Foreman. Must have 5 years experience running jobs, reading blueprints. Measuring and drawing up Ductwork fittings. Have all hand tools, Driver's license and transportation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
