Lead Developer

Working with a great financial services company based out of Charlotte on a
Lead Developer
with
8+ years of experience
to help drive the architecture, build, and delivery of our platform. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll guide technical direction, mentor engineers, and contribute across both backend and frontend systems. Job description is below:

Lead Developer – Hybrid (Charlotte, NC)

Hybrid: 3 days/week onsite in Charlotte, NC.

What You'll Do

• Lead architecture and technical decision-making across major projects
• Build and scale backend services/APIs using
  Go (Golang)
• Develop modern front-end features using
  React + TypeScript
• Mentor engineers and elevate engineering standards (testing, CI/CD, code reviews)
• Work with product and design to translate requirements into scalable solutions
• Contribute to cloud, containerization, and infrastructure decisions (AWS/GCP/Azure, Docker, Kubernetes)

What We're Looking For

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience
  , including senior/lead responsibilities
• Strong experience with
  Go
  ,
  React
  ,
  TypeScript
  , and relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL)
• Cloud experience with AWS/GCP/Azure and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Strong communication, leadership, and collaboration abilities
• Experience working in an
  agile
  environment

Nice to Have

• Experience in financial services technology
  , wealth/retirement, or other regulated industries
• Event-driven systems or message queues (Kafka/RabbitMQ)
• Microservices and distributed systems
• OAuth2/OIDC/SSO familiarity
• Terraform, CloudFormation, or other IaC tools
• Exposure to DDD or modern architectural patterns
