Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
• Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times
• Assist with bussing tables, resetting for new guests, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
• Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments using POS systems
• Address guest inquiries promptly and professionally to foster positive guest relations
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any issues efficiently
• Support other team members as needed in a fast-paced restaurant or nightclub setting

Skills

• Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is preferred
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests effectively
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment
• Proven ability to manage time efficiently during busy service hours
• Upselling skills to promote menu items and increase sales revenue
• Previous experience in fine dining, nightlife venues, or hospitality environments is advantageous
• Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy
• Ability to multitask efficiently in high-pressure situations while maintaining professionalism
• Guest relations experience including hosting or serving in restaurants or nightclubs is desirable
