AES
a division of Lennox, was established in 1988 and is one of the largest manufacturers of roof curbs and drop box diffuser systems in the nation. We have recently expanded our capabilities as a single source supplier by adding a Mechanical Services Division as well as becoming a Misc. Steel manufacturer. These new services will reduce construction costs and eliminate coordination with multiple suppliers and subcontractors. Our focus will be to enhance the services provided to our General Contractor network nationwide. AES has 4 different fabrication facility locations nationwide to assist our customers and reduce their freight cost and shipment lead times.
What Drives Success
The Customer Service Representative handles a variety of incoming customer calls, and fulfills customer needs to ensure customer satisfaction. May respond, to e-mail inquiries. Calls are predominantly routine, but may require, deviation from standard screens, scripts, and procedures., Processes new orders based on customer requests. Tracks open orders to ensure completeness in a prompt manner. Checks pricing and verifies availability. Reviews and troubleshoots customer problems and initiates, standard action for repair, replacement, return or field service as guided by customer service policies. Uses computerized system for tracking, information gathering, and/or troubleshooting. Provides support to lower-level staff on non-standard cases where policy and practice are not formalized or documented and individual case, determination may be required. Refers highly unusual situations to higher authority for review and reconciliation. May assess needs and suggest/promote alternative products or services. Customer service is the primary function but may include minimal selling or promotion of products or services.
Key Responsibilites
- Contacting general's contractors prior to pushing production packets onto the shop floor to ensure they'll take delivery, reducing our overhead inventory.
- Creating a database using accessible information to assist in load planning inbound loads.
- Selling the recycling program through daily correspondence (where applicable)
What We Are Looking For
- Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education, and experience. A bachelor's degree or equivalent is preferred.
- 5 plus years of supply chain/logistics experience.
- Requires at least 2 years related experienced, excellent written and verbal communication skills, including effective listening skills.
- Ability to learn and understand technical terminology.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced goal-oriented environment.
- Able to handle multiple tasks, stay organized, and focused on details. Requires general knowledge of the organization, and thorough knowledge of company products and services.
- Requires ability to navigate a computerized data entry system or other relevant applications.
What We Offer
Compensation
: This is a salaried non-exempt role. This means that employees are paid a salary and also receive overtime pay when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law). The starting salary range for this role and market is between $32,800 - $43,050annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
Employees in this role are also eligible for abonus in accordance with the terms of the Company's applicable plan.
