Janitorial Supervisor

Hillary Custom Cleaning is a fast-growing commercial cleaning company serving the Dubuque area. We are looking for a dependable Janitorial Supervisor to oversee nightly cleaning operations, support employees, and ensure quality service at all client locations.

Job Summary

The Janitorial Supervisor is responsible for inspecting commercial cleaning accounts, leading employees, stocking supplies, and ensuring nightly cleaning tasks are completed to company standards. This is a hands-on leadership role with fieldwork and some cleaning required when covering call-ins or open accounts.

Responsibilities

• Inspect commercial cleaning accounts for quality and completion
• Support and oversee employees during nightly shifts
• Respond to customer concerns and follow up on complaints
• Stock accounts with necessary cleaning supplies and paper products
• Train new employees on cleaning procedures and quality standards
• Cover open accounts or staff call-ins when needed
• Report issues, needs, or updates directly to the owner
• Maintain a positive working relationship with clients and staff

Qualifications

• Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial supervision preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Reliable transportation required
• Ability to work evenings and some weekends
• High attention to detail and accountability
• Must pass a background check

Pay & Benefits

• $19-22 per hour (based on experience)
• 1 week paid time off (after a year)

Schedule

• Full-time
• Evening hours with occasional split shifts
• Occasional weekends when needed.

• Multiple commercial accounts throughout the Dubuque, IA area

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
