Controller

Overall Summary:

The Controller will partner with department directors (and managers) at least quarterly to discuss the monthly finance reporting, focused on labor and expense performance. Responsible for annual operating and capital budget preparation. Supervise and participate in quarterly reforecast preparation including financial projection, cash flow and risk/opportunities assessment. The Controller will ensure all balance sheet reconciliations are completed timely and ensure compliance with policies and GAAP. Oversee and participate in completion of monthly close report due to CFO and CEO. The Controller will meet with department directors insuring that LMRS labor reporting system data and reporting remains relevant to budget. Attend promptly to the administrative details of the position including the signing of documents, preparation of reports, completion of performance appraisals and other related duties as assigned.

Under the general direction of Chief Financial Officer, the Controller performs a variety of complex, professional, analytical, and confidential Financial services. Duties include:

• Oversee the activities of the accounting department to ensure the accurate and timely dissemination of financial reports including internal and external monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Maintain internal controls and safeguards for cash, revenue and expenditures while ensuring the integrity of all systems, processes and data.
